Eating disorders
Emily specializes in working with individuals who experience various eating difficulties, including ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), anorexia, bulimia and binge eating. To ensure comprehensive care in line with NICE guidelines, Emily collaborates closely with experienced dietitians and other healthcare professionals at Insight Eating with whom Emily works as an associate psychologist.
ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
Individuals with ARFID often struggle to access support (although NHS and voluntary services across UK are working to develop ARFID pathways for children and adults). Together with dietitians at Insight, Emily provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, report and treatment for ARFID. Additionally, Emily offers training for healthcare professionals and schools about ARFID and other eating disorders.
