FAQ

  • What happens in the first session?

The first session serves as an opportunity for you to gauge your comfort level in speaking with me, while allowing me to gain a comprehensive understanding of your difficulties, previous attempts, strengths and goals. I will ask you a series of questions to help me assess whether I can provide the assistance you need.

  • What happens in remote sessions

We understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality during remote sessions, as with face-to-face sessions. Our priority is to offer sessions at times when we can ensure a quiet, uninterrupted, and confidential environment (with the exception of my dog who occasionally may decide to join the session). It is essential for you to find a suitable time and space within your home to ensure confidentiality.

  • How is the communication with your GP?

In cases where we work together to address eating-related difficulties, it is typically necessary for me to communicate with your GP e.g. for support with physical health monitoring. We can discuss this further during our initial meeting to address any questions or concerns you may have.
